VOLUNTEERING AND WORK EXCHANGE
Volunteers and those who work in exchange for part or all of their ticket are the lifeblood of the festival. We are the womyn who (among other things) help prepare the meals, take care of our children, help backstage, and make sure the land is safe and secure for all.

If you want to volunteer....contact Rainbow before the festival, or find her on land once you are there. Please consider what you would like to do, where you would like to volunteer and the time frames that are important to you. If you want to volunteer on the land, we always need a friendly face to show up and ask what needs to be done.It is a unique way to experience the festival and meet new womyn.

A full festival ticket is 18 hours. You can come early and help set up, stay late and take the festival down, or work varying shifts during the festival.
Areas needing work exchange currently are:
Coordinators - We have need for a couple coordinator positions. These are usually more time intensive and allow you to be part of an amazing team. If you want to be more involved than ‚just showing up for work shifts‚Äù contact Rainbow to explore ideas. Currently we have a strong need for a coordinator for childcare.
Kitchen Help and Prep - What a great chance to work with "Mom" (the camp cook who stays to work with us), and help to provide amazing meals.
Stage Help - Those with stage experience only.
Emceeing - Help to make transitions between acts.
Childcare - It takes a village...or a great group of womyn to take care of the children during the festival.
Vending - We will need people to sell performer's and festival wares, as well as food and drinks.
Security - There are a wide variety of shifts during the festival to make sure we are safe and taken care of.
Differently-Abled Services - Help womyn set up their sites, make sure that they have what they need and get where they need to go - most help needed on Friday.
Front Gate Check-In - Be one of the first faces of the festival!
Parking - Another way to be one of the first faces of the festival...and meet the womyn who are coming in!
Set Up or Take Down - Come early or stay late and be part of the behind the scenes magic!

Hey! Welcome to our 4th year!! The goal is to be a full festival on our 4th year. To make that happen we will need a lot of womyn to volunteer and do work exchange. I hope you will join us for a few hours or the full 18 hour exchange. Call or email me and we can find the perfect place for you!
And, I would not be me without saying, that the word work is in Work Exchange for a reason. It may be fun work...but work all the same. If you want to do work exchange, please know you are making a commitment to be there and do the work you sign up for. You and I can work together to find the work you would like to do‚that should help you keep your work commitment!
If money is an issue for you attending the festival, contact me and we will find a place for you to exchange the full price of a ticket or arrange some hours to work off some of your ticket. Come be a part of what makes this festival happen...in addition to the performers, the staff, the kitchen, the workshop leaders, and all the other womyn who will be with us August 22-24th!
